As the Foundation continues its mission into its 40th year of service, it has been blessed with opportunities to not only serve the congregation at St. Mark's Church, but also to reach out into the community and the world with various grants through the years. From helping the church's young people attend camp, feeding our neighbors through the local food shelf, and giving help for the people of Ukraine to have seeds to grow their food, the Foundation has been responding to the needs of people. The St. Mark’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Foundation is proud to have celebrated its 40th anniversary, sharing its mission with St. Mark’s Church congregation, the community, and people in the world. Please check out the video on this page featuring several of the people and organizations the Foundation was able to help with grants during 2025. Some of these projects are part of our church life, others reach out to our community and the world at large. The endowment program of The Foundation has been able to give more than $22,000 in 2025 for people and programs, thanks to the generous donations from both the St. Mark’s Church congregation and the larger community. You, too, can be a part of carrying this mission forward by checking the Foundation Gifts tab for information on ways to support The Foundation Grant requests are always welcome and can be submitted by going to the Foundation Grants tab. And for any questions or concerns, you can always ask a Board of Trustees member, who are listed under The Foundation tab. We are all invested in the future, and by working together, we can ensure God’s word goes forward for generations.
